The Approach to People

I help you identify where you are, define who you want to be, and take action to become that person.

This sounds fancier: I help you understand your wounds, and how your patterns got you to where you are, and support you in imagining new possibilities in life while feeling safe.

This goes beyond theory. I help you take action to create your life.

I believe that therapy is amazing to see some of your past and I still think there’s a missing piece regarding how to act differently and be able to make different decisions and choices.

Understanding your past is one thing and knowing how the past is never really past, how it permeates your present, and being able to take a step back and observe how patterns percolate your perspective of reality, is another thing.

As Carl Jung said, as long as you don’t make the unconscious conscious, it will define your life and you will call it “destiny”. The work here is making the unconscious conscious to see new possibilities for your life and access the feelings that will help you take action and experience hope in a new and available way.

We all carry beliefs, feelings, stories, and perspectives that don’t allow us to align with the vision of life we want to create for ourselves.

My approach helps you see those things in yourself, understand how they’ve impacted your experience of life, and how they are still present in you so that you can how much of what you are doing is aligned with what serves you better toward what you want to create.
